Focus for the week ~ Letter Yy
Bible: "Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath." James 1:19
*Yackety Yak and Chatty Patty weren't very good listeners.
*We can say that we love our friends and family, but if we don't show it by treating them nicely, we don't really love them at all.
*Help us be slow to speak and quick to listen.

2. Review Yy and other bible verses
3. Play "I Spy" with Yellow items or things that start with Yy
4. Have child practice putting together puzzles
5. Get out 20-30 objects of various lengths and have child compare them to length of pencil ("shorter than" and "longer than")
