Focus for the week ~

Phonics & Handwriting: Letter Ww - Words that begin with Ww

Literature: "Wemberly Worried"

Journal: Drawings of their favorite Ww word

Math: Empty, full, and half full containers; Covering a design in more than one way with pattern blocks; Mazes

Centers: Ww handwriting, Ww book, lacing Ww letters, connect-the-dots and color Watches, What's your favorite color song? (Ask you child...you will be impressed with how quickly they are learning how to spell the colors and what the colors are in Spanish!)

The Librarian for next week is LOGAN. I'll send home our "ABC tub" for him to bring in show-and-tell item(s) that begin with Vv (our letter next week). Please also bring in an 8.5" x 11" sheet with "All about me" info that he can share with the class.
