Phonics & Handwriting: Letter Uu - Words that begin with Uu

Literature: "The Umbrella" & "The Mitten"

Journal: Learned how to draw a Unicorn under a rainbow (upside down U)

Math: Making AB & ABB towers using linking cubes (copying, extending, and copying with different colors); Identifying and ordering numbers 1-20

Centers: Uu handwriting, Uu book, Umbrella & Uniform sequin photo colorings, Underwater Aquariums, lacing U letters and objects

HOMEWORK: Last week, I sent home a copy of our "Classroom Rules." Please go over with your child and then cut the text sentences apart from their matching picture. Play a game with your child where they match the rules with the pictures.

The Librarian for next week is KYLEE. I sent home our "ABC tub" for her to bring in show-and-tell item(s) that begin with Ww (our letter next week). Please also bring in an 8.5" x 11" sheet with "All about me" info that she can share with the class.
