Focus for the week ~ Letter Ff

*F is for Flamingo.

*Just as the flamen oil turns flamingos pink from the inside-out, we also change from the inside-out when we have Jesus in our heart.

Phonics & Handwriting: Letter Ff - Words that begin with Ff

Literature: "Frederick" and "The Alphabet Tree"

Journal: Drawings of frogs and flamingos

Math: Acting out some, some more and some, some went away stories; comparing numbers to ten (using a deck of cards)

Centers: Friendship bracelets, Fingerprint good luck clovers, reading, cooking for Friends

The Librarian for the week after next is EMMA. Please have her bring in show-and-tell item(s) that begin with Zz. Please also bring in an 8.5" x 11" sheet with "All about me" info that she can share with the class.
